Photo Essay! – Karla Caves

All my biking life, I have scoffed at riding to Lonavala from Mumbai. Its too short a distance, whats there to do in Lonavala, thats a breakfast ride only!  So it was with great reluctance that I agreed to spend the Holi weekend with friends in Lonavala due to plain lack of options ( all other destinations were already booked!)

A friend recommended the Karla Caves for a visit and with nothing else to do, we made a plan to see it.

The steep climbs left us breathless, but the caves were nothing to write home about. Hence this photo blog. below are some random clicks that showcase the walk to and the insides of the caves in lonavala.
